Living in Western Australia

Perth is a beautiful city located on the Swan River and on the Indian Ocean coast. Because Perth is so close to the ocean and the beautiful Swan River, residents enjoy a variety of water sports such as water skiing, fishing, surfing, windsurfing and many others.

There are many beaches in Perth to choose from and Perth enjoys wonderful weather for most of the year. Perth is the world's sunniest capital city which means a lot of time outdoors enjoying gorgeous skies.

Sheridan College is located only a 5-10 minute walk to the city center. In addition, it is only a 10 minute walk to Northbridge restaurants and cafes.

Western Australia is home to the The Great Southern Region. Here you will find some of the best foods Australia has to offer. Esquisite wine, chocolate, cheese and other fresh home grown products are available in this region as well as rolling green hills and majestic trees. The Valley of the Giants, a chance to walk among some of the tallest trees in Australia, is located in Denmark, part of the Great Southern Region of WA.
