Bachelor of Arts - Linguistics major

Linguistics is the scientific study of language. Students will learn many aspects of the human language including phonetics, morphology, syntax and semantics. Practical applications of language studies are woven through the course units. This major is suitable for students preparing for employment in education, foreign services or as a pathway towards postgraduate studies.

Sheridan's Linguistics major may be taken on either a full-time or part-time basis and is open to both domestic and international students.
