How to Apply

How to Apply (Domestic students)

STEP 1: Choose your course

Choosing a course of interest is the first step in your journey towards academic success and a rewarding career. Our admissions team can counsel you in choosing the right course and answer any questions you might have.

STEP 2: Check the important dates

Sheridan College’s academic year is broken down to three trimesters.

  • Undergraduate Courses (Diploma + Bachelor Level) have intake dates in January & September each year.
  • Postgraduate Courses (Graduate Certificates, Graduate Diplomas + Master Programs) have intake dates in January, May and September.

Applications close 1 week prior to Orientation Days. Please see our Academic Calender for specific dates.

These dates will help assist you in selecting the most suitable course start date.

STEP 3: Check you meet the course entry requirements

To be considered for a place in a Sheridan College course, you must meet the specific entry requirements.

Every application will require key documents to be provided with the application. These include:

  • Photo ID (Passport/Drivers Licence);
  • All relevant Academic Documents;
  • Current Resume(if applying for a Post Graduate course);

If you are not applying for one of the above tuition payment methods, your initial deposit for full time students will be $3,160.00 and will cover your first 4 units of study.

For part-time students the initial deposit will be $790.00 per unit enrolled.

STEP 7: Submitting your application

It is important that you prepare the relevant forms and documents required for assessment. Once you have all everything in place, email everything in one email to admissions.

Prospective domestic students should complete this form in full with as much detail as possible.

This form will assist you in preparing for your future studies. The form will allow our admissions team to ensure the course you have selected is a good fit and that you have all the necessary information to ensure the best possible outcome for your studies.
