General Minimum requirements
Entry to Undergraduate Awards

A minimum ATAR score of 60 and completion of WACE or an equivalent qualification from an Australian secondary school with a scaled mark of at least 50 in ATAR English, or
-
Completion of a Certificate IV in a relevant discipline.
Entry to Graduate Awards:
-
Open to persons who have graduated with or qualified for a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an Australian university or other approved higher education provider with a credit average, and
-
provide evidence of at least three years professional experience.
Graduate Alternative Entry:
-
Open to persons who have: graduated with or qualified for a diploma from an Australian provider or other approved education provider with a credit average (or equivalent), and
-
provide evidence of at least five years relevant work experience at a management level and are assessed by the Academic Principal as being able to successfully complete the program and make a positive contribution to the learning environment. For the purposes of this policy, "management" includes the supervision of one or more direct reports, and financial responsibility for a budget or cost centre within a budget.

Applicants who do not have a credit average must submit a 1000 word statement demonstrating their suitability for the program.

Proof of English Language Proficiency by Applicants
Applicants who:
-
have an assessable qualification that was undertaken solely in English in one of the countries listed above OR
-
have been resident in Australia with English being the language spoken at home and at work for ten (10) or more years
are NOT required to provide proof of English Language proficiency for consideration for admission to a Sheridan College course.
Applicants who:
-
do NOT have an assessable qualification that was undertaken solely in English from one of the countries listed in above AND
-
have NOT been resident in Australia with English being the language spoken at home and at work for at least ten (10) years
MUST provide proof of English Language proficiency for consideration for admission to a Sheridan College course
Minimum Levels of English Language Proficiency for Admission to Sheridan College Courses

Applications for admission to Undergraduate courses will be considered if the applicant can demonstrate English Language proficiency at least at the following level (or equivalent): IELTS 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or a TOEFL (paper based) minimum score of 550. Individual program requirements for English Language must also be met.

Applications for admission to Graduate courses will be considered if the applicant can demonstrate English Language proficiency at least at the following level (or equivalent): IELTS 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or a TOEFL (paper based) minimum score of 550; or a TOEFL (internet based) minimum score of 79, with no individual band below 18 or equivalent, as a minimum. Individual program requirements for English Language must also be met.
